Willison Park Tennis Club is a private tennis club located in Murdoch Street, Camberwell, Victoria, with over 500 members. WPTC provides facilities for both social and competitive players, competing in mid-week and weekend tennis associations all year round.
AGM & Special General Meeting
A Special General Meeting will be held Thursday 16 September at 7:30pm in the new Clubhouse. The AGM will follow immdiately after this SGM at 7:45pm. Download the Special Resolution and the proposed new constitution (2.6MB pdf) that will be put to the vote at the Special General Meeting.
All members are welcome to attend the SGM & AGM. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. This is an opportunity to come and see the new clubhouse and be updated with the latest information about the club.
New Coaching Program
Mark Sheppard and Rob Daley of Kanga Tennis Coaching are extremely pleased to introduce themselves as the new coaching providers at the Willison Park Tennis Club in Camberwell. They are offering a variety of new tennis programs at the Willison Park Tennis Centre in Camberwell which commenced in term 1, 2010. See the coaching page for more details.
New Clubhouse
The old clubhouse was riddled with white ant and the council decided to replace it. The clubhouse was demolished in January 2010 and access to the courts is now via the gates either by the watertank at Court 1 or by the shed near Court 3. There have been temporary clubrooms set up at the front of the old clubhouse. The council are fully funding the building of the clubhouse and work is estimated to be complete by August.
